Frequently asked questions
What do I need to use CarryCat?
Adobe Lightroom Classic and a shared location for the catalogs, such as a NAS or a network share. CarryCat itself does not need a server of its own.
How many licenses do I need?
One per device that runs CarryCat. A key is bound to the device on first start.
Can I move my license to a new computer?
Yes. Drop us a line, we release the key from the old device and you can activate it on the new one.
Does CarryCat work without internet?
Yes, for up to 30 days in a row. Every start with an internet connection extends that period automatically.
Are my photos or catalogs uploaded anywhere?
No. Catalogs stay on your server and your computers. Only the license check reaches us: key, a device identifier, device name and app version.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes, automatically by e-mail after payment. You can enter your company name and VAT ID during checkout.
